Children love drama! It helps them understand and experience Bible stories and lessons on a whole new level as they try to think and speak as the characters do. Children enjoy wearing costumes and taking an active part in staging plays; they look forward to performing the story instead of just reading it.
Laura Still has taught Sunday School for 18 years and has been a drama workshop leader since her church began using Workshop Rotation Model Sunday School seven and a half years ago. During the first five years, she wrote a play every five weeks for the each new lesson in the drama workshop. Now her plays and teaching experiences have been compiled into a manual for drama teachers, whether beginners or seasoned campaigners.
